NancyScans provides a wide range of 2D and 3D scanning, printing and fabricating services for photographers, artists and exhibit designers. Our services allow customers to print to an array of shapes, sizes and textures. No longer are designers bound to 2 dimensional paper or canvas. Our processes allow artists to think outside the norm and create photographic prints on 3 dimensional surfaces. For fine art photographers and artists looking to develop unique editions, our processes surpass anything available elsewhere. The processes and technologies NancyScans offer allow artists a paradigm shift as to what is technically possible. NancyScans is located in Chatham, NY, 2 hours north of New York City and 2 hours west of Boston. Chatham has just one stoplight. The only crime is driving 31 mph.

2D & 3D Scanning
For film based images, scanning is the foundation for a great print. Since 1995, NancyScans has been at the forefront of fine art scanning. As great scanning is an art and not a craft, company President, Nancy Olson continues to do every fine art scan herself.
2D Printing
NancyScans printing meets the highest of standards. Our work is displayed in the most respected galleries and museums. In 2007, the Company produced Spiritual America, the 30-year retrospective of Artist Richard Prince that opened at New York’s Guggenheim Museum.
At NancyScans, a small team of digital professionals translate your files into finished prints. You will have a contact to deal directly with, not a customer service agent.
At the heart of NancyScans printing is a fully color managed workflow. Our LightJets, ink jets and direct-to-substrate printers are supported with profiles for the papers and materials we print to.
Finishing Services
Our finishing department will mount, laminate, fabricate, frame and crate to meet your needs.

3D Printing
3D Photographic Printing is a brand new patent-pending process developed by the founders of NancyScans. The process converts and prints any conventional photo to a bas-relief print that has length, width, depth and texture. Prints are available in sizes to 60” x 120” x 1.75” in relief depth.

3D Scanning
As you think of new ways to create, keep in mind our 3D scanning technology. 3D scanning allows you to grow the narrative. You can bring your art or models to our facility (or we can come to you). You direct the talent as we capture 3D scans of your vision. Once captured, we can fabricate the files into a variety of substrates that can then be texturized and printed.
ReRez
Using our own proprietary solution, NancyScans can ReRez low resolution files to print beautifully at MUCH larger sizes. Compared with conventional interpolation software, our solution creates custom results that agencies use time and again. 3D Fabrication
NancyScans 3D will fabricate eye-stopping sculpture, enlargements out of foam, relief sculpture, product replicas, movie props, architectural elements and themed environments. Our 3D design team can turn your ideas into beautiful 360 degree or relief sculpture. Following fabrication we can finish it in paint or metal surfaces. Using the industry’s most powerful CNC carving router, NancyScans takes your concept to the next level. No longer stuck in the 2D world, you art and photography can come alive with length, width and DEPTH. With our CNC we can create objects to 10’, 20’, 30’ or larger.
