Creating Profiled Photoshop TIFF Files for KRISTL Printing:
|
|
|
|
|
To assure great looking prints that match your originals, please read the instructions below.
Your success depends on calibrating your monitor to ICC standards.
When providing profiled files for output, you will be ultimately responsible for the quality.
Check our web site for current profiles and separation tables that allow you to "SoftProof".
Please be sure to familiarize yourself with our file creation specifications for KRISTL printing.
Follow the instructions below to apply NancyScans ICC Profiles to your Digital files.
Call us at 1-800-604-1199 if you have any questions.
Basic Instructions
1. Always save a "master" version of every file. Resave "working" file with new name. Make your adjustments to this "working" version.
2. Use the NancyScans Adobe Separation Table/ICC Profile in Photoshop and Preview in "SoftProof" view mode. This simulates the color space of the KRISTL print on your calibrated monitor. Make your final color corrections while in the Preview view mode.
3. Return to the RGB Color space.
4. Rotate image to Landscape (horizontal) before saving.
5. Apply NS/KRISTL profile for Gloss or Matte prints. There are two methods for applying profiles in photoshop, Export using Colorsync (Mac only) and Profile to Profile /Convert to Profile (Mac or PC).
