Scanning... isn't Film Dead?
At NancyScans, we continue to scan hundreds and hundreds of film images. In fact, in 2009 we completed more Custom Tango Drum Scans and Fine Art Flatbed Scans than ever before.
If you have valuable originals that need to be preserved, we are your first choice in scanning.
How can Artists use 3D?
Artists hire us on an hourly, 1/2 day, daily or project basis. You direct your models while we capture to 3D. Following capture, we can fabricate the file into relief or 3 dimensional sculpture. After fabrication we seal the reproduction with a hard coat finish which is ready for final treatment by you or us.
How can Museums use us?
Museums can use 3D files to create an on-line 3D resource of their collection. We can also mill pieces from their collection to be safely loaned or displayed in non-secure environments.
Reproductions can be scaled to many feet larger or smaller than the original.
